How much (Procharged) boost can a stock C6 Ls3 fuel pump take before you need a Boost-A-Pump etc.

Don't skimp.. A BAP is way cheaper than a rebuild...

I don't agree. If you are not going above 7-8psi, I was told by many tuners that you would not need a BAP.

The problem is not been cheap with installing a BAP but quite a few C6 have burned out fuel pumps caused by the BAP.

I wouldn't add a BAP unless you need it and not just installing it for the safety.

i disagree that BAP's lead to burned up Fuel pumps. i do agree that a Disfuctional BAP can burn up a fuel pump.

my tuner wouldn't touch mine without one installed.

Running 8 psi and no BAP (tuners recomendation). However, I do run the RacTronics harness. This takes voltage directly off the alternator, to the fuel pump,so there is never a current varation from lights, ac, etc.

I actually purchase a KB BAP when I got my Vortech supercharger. Vortech actually installed the supercharger and told me not to install the BAP. Since I was only running 6psi and don't plan on any higher boost, I was told it wasn't needed. I took my car back to my hometown and decided to get another opinion on the BAP from 2 local tuners. They both said that I would not need the BAP and they have seen problems with BAP and burned out fuel pumps on C5 and C6.

I am just trying to pass on my experience on BAP.

Not necessarily boost, its more like HP. 4 psi on a 106mm turbo would be 900 hp 4 psi on a P1 would be fine.

The stock LS3 pump is done, depending on mods/car/drivetrain/power adder around 575-625 rwhp.

Keep an eye on pressure drop, and remember your mileage may vary.
