Do you think I would get better blower pulley traction with the stock water pump or with an electric water pump?
Ideally traction wise there should be no/little difference, that being belt wrap around crank pulley remains about the same. Remember water pump is driven of back side of belt (not grooved portion).

It really won't have too much of an affect, but if we wanted to split hairs I guess you can say the one with the beefier bearing setup. The less play/give you get in that pulley the truer the belt will run.
I've got flip drive version 1 as well, any news on the upgrade price? I'm one of the people who mentioned that version 1 wasn't compatible with the "clutched" alternator pulley on the Automatic cars.... So I had to come up with a alternator from a manual... I see version 2 will avoid this issue.

For those who have a version 1 setup, they should give me a call at the shop if they want to upgrade. I have special pricing on just the upper.
