i mounted mine where spin did, below the ww tank. i just moved the plastic tank up about a half inch which allowed the pump to fit. i did not even drill new holes for the tank, just slotted the holes in the plastic.

They don't. Why not?

Anodized AN fittings are fine in a 50/50 mix of water and methanol. I've had a fitting sitting in a tank of 100% meth for about 6 weeks with no sign of corrosion.

I have not seen it but I thought I would ask, has anyone found away to mount the 3 quart tank and pump in the engine compartment, fenders, etc. I don't like the thought of a meth tank in my trunk, are there any other options?

This thread was helpful to me when installing my Alky Control kit so I'm resurrecting it.

Julio had already given me the heads up that the tank needed to be moved up so the pump would be flush with the bottom of the frame rail. I found it necessary to move it higher than just slotting the tank would work for so I drilled new holes in the frame. I also drilled two new holes in the mounting plate so I could get all four screws in.

When I did this the top mounting hole for the tank did not line up with anything so I zip-tied the tray that catches the water coming out of the cowl to the tank to make sure water would not run down onto the pump.

Flush

I did notice that the baffle to the fender openings hit the top of the pump. I tried Spin's idea to heat it up and tweak it but it didn't want to move for me. I didn't want to cut the baffle at all to make sure the pump would not get wet. There is no deformation of the fender from the outside once I got it all buttoned up.

It looked like it was going to be very tight using the two lengths of 32" 4AN braided line that came with the kit with the filter/check valve in between. I had another extra length of AN hose that was slightly longer that I used on the far side of the check valve and that worked better for me.

I'm wiring the relay a little different. I have the hot input of the relay coming from the alternator and I have the MAP wire coming from the MAP on my manifold as it's a 2 bar already. Both of those and the pump wiring go into the cabin via a hole drilled right above where the hood release cables come out of the firewall which is just above and behind where the pump mounts. Then I'll use an add-a-circuit on the heated seat fuse in the footwell fusebox for the relay trigger and put the controller boxes and relay under the drivers side dash.

One thing I noticed when mounting my nozzles yesterday is that one is an M10 and the other is an M15. This seemed odd to me.

Should be spraying soon.

I actually mounted my intercooler pump there in a similar fashion.

Its been three years so my memory is weak but I mounted my Snow Performance pump below the WW tank and had no preoblems. I do not remember having to raise the WW bottle. The pump did fill up with water and locked up once. Water seeped in thru the two screws holding the motor cover. Eliminated this problem with a Bud Lite beer can slid over the motor cover.

Is it the same motor as mine? I think that the one I got was a newer version and quite a bit bigger. The location above the tank worked well and has no issue with drain down back into the tank due to their newer pump design.

I will have mine mounted somewhere on the frame in the front passenger side, as I will have to remove my stock WW tank and either modify it or get a smaller tank to use. Anyone know what type of plastic the stock WW tank is so I can try to plastic weld it?

That's a valid question. I couldn't find a pump part number in the installation manual. The kit P/N was 20010. It is probable that Snow has a new pump design since mine is rather dated.
