Ive searched and ive seen like 2 pics of a bottle mount in the C6. I guess Im calling out people with more pictures. If you have ANY pics of your nitrous setup please post them, from where you solenoids are mounted, to where you have your switches, and bottle. Thanks!
I know mine isnt pretty but I change things so often and I'm always testing things and swapping parts that the wires need to be out for access but here it is:
Air fuel with XD-16 wideband (LM-1) with meth njection and fuel system activation LED's:
The remote bottle opener and arming switch is mounted on the side of the center console. It is a small progect box with a sheet metal hook that simply hooks over the carper above it and no holes are drilled anywhere. Its removeable to be stock again with nothing cut. The bottle heater is the switch on the center console just in front of the starage lift cover. It has a Blue LED to indicate that its armed. The heater has an ignition switch bypass so when the car is powered down the heater cant be powered even though the bottle has a pressure cuttoff. Redundant safety:
Its in reach but not obtrusive. I used to have a thumb actuated switch but I didnt like the T-handle or being asked why I bought an automatic because the shifter looked like a auto handle. The ability to come in and out of the shot is important for retaining or regaining traction without comming off the gas pedal and the foot switch is kind of difficult to do that with so I put in a momentary switch under the shifter boot that is near your fingers while your hand is on the shifter for that extra 35 or 50 shot. With boost applications, a 50 shot produces like 200rwtq and its just what a centrif s/c needs donw low as well as being a chemical intercooler. I used to have a dry shot until boost levels went so high that it maxed out the injectors and I'm hugging the line of needing bigger injectors even with meth and a fuel system at a 61-63psi rail pressure.

I really like the sideways bottle, but I have heard the bottle needs to be mounted straight to work at peak performance. Does anyone care to elaborate on that? Keep the pics coming the setups looks great!
To secure the bottle mount brackets in the back area how are you guys doing it? just screwing in some big sheet metal screws? Also for the nitrous pressure relief tube from the bottle, do you just punch a hole in the trunk area and run the tube through? if so where does this vent it too?

Thanks, hope to add a small shot this winter.
The rear tray is way to thin to use sheet metal screws. I just trimmed a piece of MDF board (wrapped in carpet) so it fit snug in the rear area and mounted the bottle to that board. The MDF wasn't mounted. It was purely held in place by the weight of the nitrous bottle and NANO bottle. Its quite heavy I might add. It never shifted side to side. Using this method made it real easy to take it in and out of the car. When its out of the car, just hide your feed line under the carpet. Hope this helps.

The pick-up goes to the opposite corner of the bottle from the filler valve. The nitrous in the bottle will seek the back most part of the lower part of the bottle. Of course a filled bottle doesnt have an issue. If you mount the bottle like mine, you must turn the bottle so the pick-up is the rear part of the bottle at about the 4 or 5 oclock position looking at the bottom of the bottle pointing to the tail pipes. In any position the bottle must be angled to the floor of the car so the bottom of the bottle is always lower than the top. It would be best to angle the bottle slighly at a minimum so the pick-up would be behind the top of the bottle.
I run such a small shot that it lasts forever between fill-ups. I can only use it in 3rd gear and up and only a 35 to 50 shot. I can hit it 40 times and still not have a low fill condition where it would be an issue. Living in Colorado Springs, the ability to store the top precludes a front to rear bottle. It can be sunny and 70 degrees and 3 hours later be snowing.
A big 125 shot and up would run the bottle low in an evening of fun in 2 or three gears.
