Not when you do an operating system upgrade, it allows the fan to come on at 170ish. Although this car was done a long time ago, I'll have to check his file. 100% is loud, (although we do not set fans to 100%) we wouldn't set it to that unless it saw high temps, where cool outweighs noise.
OP asked about possibility of setting the fan to 100% full time...I didn't mean to imply you would have.
there are at least 2 threads on this solution, gotta use terminal blocks instead.
I'm tracking you now. Since my ground wire died on me about a year ago, I bet it melted the connector. I'll take it apart today and see what carnage awaits. What is the connector there for anyway? Why isn't it just hard wired? Can anyone see a reason why I can't just use a terminal block/ barrier (http://radioshack.com/product/index....ductId=2103228) to link the wires together?
Is there a fuse built somewhere in the wiring to protect the controller itself? If so, why does the connector melt? If not, maybe I should wire a fuse in there.
