Had a question for some of the guys running nitrous on their Vette’s. On one of my past Mustangs I ran a Nitrous Works wet kit with an MSD window switch, I was thinking of doing the same on my C6, since it’s a manual I obviously want to incorporate a window switch incase I miss a shift.
My question is what wire do you use for your RPM signal? Real easy on an old 5.0 Mustang since it had one coil, and the new 4.6 with coil on plug motors have a green signal wire on the LH fuel rail. I don’t have a wiring diagram yet and I curious if the LS engines have a RPM signal wire to tap into for the window switch. Thanks!
well for the window switches we sell, we use the pass side coil pack plug, GREEN wire. FYI our window switch we sell is $110.00 has two outputs and can do gear lockout!

Cool I will have to check that out, I was just looking at what I had previous experience with (MSD). I appreciate the info

I was in your neck of the woods Monday night, ate at Leons, then flew back
IIRC, the wiring section on my web site has pictures and info on various tach pick-up locations, as well as TPS locations. I ran the MSD WS for years on a couple of my Vettes, however, there are now vastly Superior window sws on the market. One includes a/f shut down, a/f ratio display, gear lock out, timers, dual stage and much more. So, I guess the point is this, if buying a WS some of the newer makes have much better overall abilities. I still have a MSD controlling the 3rd stage on my car, but one of the good ones controlling 1st and 2nd stages.
