I am having issues with my boost a pump constantly blowing fuses at WOT. I have an 06 vert with the A&A vortec S/C 6lbs boost and headers. Can I run without any boosting of my fuel pumps output? I do not take the car to the drag strip, only occasional WOT runs. What is the minimum fuel pressure my pressure gauge should be reading at WOT? Can I remove the boost a pump? Is it dangerous to run without it? Thanks for the help.
I definately wouldn't trust just the factory pump while under boost. There is a reason your BAP is blowing fuses. How is it connected into the factory wiring harness? Are the connections soldered, or wireless crimped connectors used? What size fuse are you running at the BAP and also at the factory fuse under the hood?

Most change it to a 30 amp fuse. I definately wouldnt use it WOUT the Boosta Pump. Also as other have mentioned its important to have good solid connections. Lousy connections = resistance which = heat which equals melted wires or popped fuses at less draw that rated.
