Default Edelbrock s/c for ls2

off the top of your heads, what would be the reason that this would not fit the LS2? What is the diff between the the ls2 and ls3 heads that would prevent this? Intake port shape?

Called Edelbrock and they said wait until it comes out in production and they will have feedback on what is needed.

the intake ports are a different shape

seems like that would not be a good thing since the ls3 head is for a bigger displacement and bigger bore. Probably lose some off idle performance providing cam ect are still oem.
