The amount of boost a car makes is dependant upon a lot if things, e.g., cam, heads, displacement, etc. The better question is how much power are you making? If you want to make more, go with a smaller head unit pulley. There is a really good deal from someone selling a Flip Drive, which will help prevent slippage when you turn up the boost.

An 8 rib setup would be just fine on a D1 spinning it to the moon w/o the flip...

Like aTX said, there is alot of factors in order to figure boost..

Upgrade to an 8 Rib setup and keep your 3.4 pulley to see the end results, I did not do a IC Overdrive Balancer, if I did I would see more boost than I do now on my little 347. I have zero slip with Andy's new bracket and 8 rib setup, recently certified his setup at the Texas Mile where I saw 20# in 4th gear and 16# in 5th going through the traps at 6000 rpm and a mere 190 MPH

Mine makes 19 to 20psi 8.25 lower and 3.4 blower pulley. Its going to run out of air. I would put a F1 on it.

You hear the same issues with belts from installing blowers. If you do it correctly, you will not have issues. If you don't, forgetaboutit.

Did you pin the crank? With it pinned it should not of come loose, even if torqued incorrectly.
