Default Added Meth at ECS

I had ECS add Meth to my DD today for added safety and also a few more ponies...It added 93 rwhp and 68 rwtq at 11 lbs. of boost...
It was rainy on the drive home, so I couldn't get into it too much...There was definitely a noticeable feel in the responsiveness and it wanting to launch at the slightest lean on the pedal...I can't wait for it to dry up a bit so I can fill a few potholes around here with some rubber....
Thanks to the whole staff at ECS again for a flawless install and to Doug for all his insight and getting most out of my DD at 11 lbs...
If you live in the Northeast area, you need to make some time to have ECS change the way your car performs while still keeping the driveability the same...
Thanks guys and see you at Strictly Corvettes in AC!!!

Enjoy the new power Scott!!

When you want more.... give us a call, we can always open up that restrictor, or remove it all together!

11 PSI with long tubes and the restrictor plate still IN? Seems a bit high but I'll buy it. But you're making more power and noticably more torque at 2100 RPMS...where you're probably not making enough boost for the alky MAP to evn kick in yet! What kind of shenanigans are you guys pulling over there? I'm pretty sure you swapped motors on the guy.

All I know is I need the magical ECS meth kit!

how did you get more tq than hp on a non stroked motor, very impressive, is it the 1.8 rockers helping the stock cam that much.

The car made more tq than hp before the Meth...From talking to Doug yesterday, he tunes the car to have more tq..The more tq further up the rev band, the more powerful the motor will be...I have no idea what I just said, but it sounded good...HELP DOUG!!! He basically said with the higher tq, it would be as powerful as a 700-800 HP motor...
Obviously, opening up the restrictor plate or taking it completely out, it could make a lot more power...But it's my DD and it's enough for me...Any more power, and I'll be buying stock in Depends or replacing the tranny and rear end!!! The cool thing is that the car will run the same now in the different temperatures we have here from freezing to high heat from day to day...

Thanks Mike, I was gonna mention you were off again yesterday, but the guys at the shop busted them for ya enough all day, I didn't have the heart...Thanks for the great service as always...Don't forget to schedule the install for the gauges when I get the pod back from DSV...We'll have some beers in AC..

I wish I lived closer I would have Doug tune it, I just fired it up last sunday, sounds good no leaks or strange noises so thats a good sign, plan on pulling it out of the shop friday. I hope to get down to vegas for a tune and dyno #,s in May.
