Default .::House of Boost introduces the LSR Cog Drive System::.

House of Boost is proud to introduce a Corvette drive system capable of reaching all your high-horsepower aspirations--consistently and reliably. The LSR Cog Drive System was created to fill the void in the C6 Corvette market which has long been anxious for a race-proven supercharger system capable of consistently breaking the 1000rwhp barrier. In recent years Corvettes have been limited by a serpentine drive system, but with more and more Corvette owners looking to push the envelope of LS-engine performance, we decided that a professional, repeatable solution was well over due.

The heart and soul of the LSR Cog Drive is its custom SFI-approved crank dampener. A 50mm wide cog belt drives the supercharger while keeping the factory 4-rib belt configuration. The 4-rib in turn drives the factory air conditioner and the House of Boost Transfer Drive Pulley--a proprietary 4-rib/6-rib combination pulley. This Transfer Drive transfers power from the 4-rib belt over to the 6-rib belt on the opposite side of the pulley. This allows the power steering and alternator accessories to be driven separate from the supercharger and air conditioner. Incorporated within the Transfer Drive is an adjustable tensioner system that tensions both the 4-rib and 6-rib belts simultaneously.

To have the best supercharger drive system on the market, we also have to use one of the best superchargers in the market: a ProCharger self-contained centrifugal, leading the industry in supercharging many of today's fastest race cars. With the ability to adapt any ProCharger F1 or F2 supercharger head unit into the LSR Cog Drive, horsepower goals can range from a 700hp street application to a race-ready 1600hp monster. The presentation of the LSR Cog Drive is also second to none with its 6061-T6 billet construction, black anodizing, and professional laser-etching.

With simplicity and reliability as the primary design objectives, this system's proven results speak for itself. The LSR Cog Drive is like no other supercharger system on the market, unparalleled in both aesthetics and performance. So if you're tired of belt slippage, inconsistent drag strip passes, and loss of boost when it matters most, give House of Boost a call today to order your LSR Cog Drive System and enjoy your Corvette like you've never enjoyed it before.

House of Boost LSR Cog Drive System: $4650.00

3. Is the rad. moved more upright?
Other than that, very nice part.

1. Added it back in the first post
2. It is technically a race kit so most users will be running a screen like the one pictured. With the level of horsepower the end user is looking for with the system, he is most likely doing limited driving with the car so running a screen on the street is still acceptable. We are exploring options for an affordable air box assembly that could be purchased. We actually made an airbox that sits on top of the radiator and intercooler that houses a 21" x 6" filter for the prototype car (not pictured).
3. Correct, the radiator and condenser are tilted up to gain clearance and have mounting brackets.

If I wasn't going to twins. I might buy one of these. Any details on how to turn down the power and then bring it back in?

Put it on a wastegate if you would like. Running a wastegate on the larger F1 and F2 units works great. Set the pulleys up to make your maximum boost level and set it up with boost per gear.

I see guys do it but the D-1SC is just not the same kind of blower that a F1 or F2 is. I don't like recommending it on a D-1SC application because its just a street blower. They are more prone to failure if you pulley them to the moon and try to limit them with a wastegate.

What you have to consider is that even though you'll set it to only make 10psi, that blower is still spinning its butt off making say 20psi. Spinning a D-1SC that hard all the time is going to shorten the life expectancy of the bearings inside. The P-1SC, P-1SC-1 and D-1SC are not compound bearing set ups like the F1, F2 and F3 units. So long periods of heat and rpm will kill them quick.

I also added an overview of what all is included in the LSR Cog Drive Bracket System in the first post.

Very nice product.

No air filter is the main downside to me.

Thanks! As mentioned we are exploring filter options but the main focus is a race application where running a filter is not a priority.

Yes. The big killer to a cog belt is the rev limiter so as long as you keep it off the limiter you'll be just fine.

You should get the cog pulley for the head unit that has the clutch built in it for a 6 speed setup.

The sprag pulley is a great idea but I'll let you know right now, don't let ProCharger find out you run one because they won't even touch your blower if it crashes. Even if its still under warranty. Its a part of their repair policy. You're much better off running a standard ProCharger cog pulley and staying off the limiter.
