Default is a D1SC too much?

Ok so I was planing on getting a smaller blower when my friend and I put a Lingenfelter gt2-3 cam in with a nice set of comp springs (new 7k redline) and pinned the crank, its a stock internals ls2 with kooks 1 3/4 headers 3x3 Cat-less X into C6Z cans , part of the install is going to be a AIS meth kit was hoping to spin out a smaller blower to make power on the top end, but I got an awesome deal on a used kit with a freshly refurbished D1SC and an larger then stock IC. now im worried that it may be a recipe for disaster let me know what you guys think, will a D1SC with a 3.75"pulley on my stock ls2 with the supporting mods ive listed above and the cam be too much for the stock pistons if I spin it to 7k, or will it make like 14-15 psi at that point and execute a few of my piston?

14-15 psi on a stock motor will take very careful tuning or it won't last very long...

7k to me seems like a recipe for potential issues..... my tuner (Arun/Champion) did not like the idea of 6800 with my stock ls2 short with baby cam when I asked. Beat the crap out of my ls2 with a d1 last year with 15lb of boost.
As for the 18 or 19lbs that I am spinning now? tick tick tick....but then again who knows...especially if you are not onto it too much.

8rib? sell you a 4" at a good deal.

The D1 would be fine but not with that pulley. Just change it out for something in the 4.10+ area.

This man knows of what he speaks. Call him and have him tune your set up!

My advise: Do what I said above, run the higher boost, beat every Supra in town and have him add the meth, too! =)
