Well unfortunately it is one of those things with a intercooler in front of the radiator. Do you have a stock radiator? Do you know if your tuner set the fans to come on lower in the temp range?

Do yourself a favor and get a Dewitts (or other) aluminum radiator. The stock one is not big enough to handle the extra load put on it.

I had the same situation but realized I had some some leaves stuck between my radiator & ac condenser. I cleaned out the leaves & went with a "water-wetter" solution & my temps came back down. Don't overlook the obvious before spending more dough $$$$. Make sure your fans on at their highest speed by 200 degrees.

Turning the fans on high speed is not the best way to handle the heat problem. First off the car sounds terrible with the fans on full speed all the time, second... the fans running like that all the time has a tendency to actually overheat the wiring harness to them causing more problems. My 07 A&A car with a dewitt's rad (no oil or trans coolers) keeps the car at 195-198 with a stock thermostat and the fans hardly ever run (unless sitting for a while in traffic). If you spent $8000 for a blower kit wouldn't another $600 or so for a good radiator be a good idea?

230* is typical in traffic If you start seeing 245-250*, you may want to look into an electric water pump, which will drop the lower the stop and go by 10-15*, but it sounds like your temps are under control.

I've topped 250 once on a long I-state drive with the A/C on full blast. Average is about 230-235 in sloooow traffic with the A/C on...and a true 100* outside.

Road course guys see 260-280's under track conditions....so 230 isn't gonna kill your motor. It's "okay", but not great. Anything you can do to lower temps is only going to help though.

I was going to go the meth route. But after this heatwave, a EOC/TOC radiator has taken the top spot on my "Corvette to-do" list.

No way road course cars hit 280 degrees. Even with a pressurized system the coolant would boil over.

Anything over 250 is getting into dangerous territory. Actually doesnt the coolant gauge show 260 to be in the red?? Meaning overheating!

before you go buying a radiator, i would run distilled water and some red line watter wetter in the summer. I dropped my coolant temps 10-12 last summer doing this. I will first put dual fans on it before the dewitts, I believe it's not the radiator that is the weak link, I believe it's airflow.

Incorrect. Ethylene glycol has a boiling point of almost 200C (390F). When used in a 50/50 mix with water it has a boiling point of around 250 degrees F. Propylene glycol is a little lower around 190C. Add in 14# pressure in the mix and you just raised the boiling point 40F. So yes you can absolutely run a road race car that hot and many people do.

I have spent entire sessions on the road course at Bondurant with temps over 250 the whole time, the car looses a lot of power, but drives fine. (but I wouldn't do it with my own car!!)

My car regularly gets to ~ 230. In fact, some WOT blasts in the heat with A/C got me 249.

I did check the hardware up front and, my God, it's cramped and looks poorly designed, particularly with that relatively narrow body opening. And now with cooler stacked one in front of the other.

Glad to finally get confirmation that > 230 is getting high, certainly 249.
I already have RedLine water wetter on order

My setup: 2005, mn6, LS2.
Meziere electric water pump (55 gph constant flow)
160 degree t'stat
Ron Davis radiator with oil cooler
Intercooled ProCharger
AR Headers
Big Bollas mod on intercooler location

Two days ago I saw 105 degrees on the OS air temp. At 80 mph with 60 degrees dialed into the ac, I saw 194 coolant temp and 208 oil temp. In traffic, the fluid temps actually fall about 10 degrees.

With reasonable OS air temps, ie less than 90 degrees, I normally see coolant temps in the low 180 range and oil temp about 10 degrees higher.

My tuner says it's the coolest running C6 he's ever seen.

Wow....that's low!

Driving at night at ~ 80deg, my oil temp hit 214 and coolant ~ 185. I just added Water Wetter additive to coolant via overflow. I'll give it a few days to mix and hopw to see some improvement
