Default E-Force with LS3 Heads on LS2

I've been working with Rick @ Livernois Motorsports on the installation of an E-Force blower on my 06 LS2. According to Edelbrock, as of today it's still "a couple of weeks" away. Based on my research on the Forum, it's been a couple weeks away for quite a while now. In discussing this and a few other mod's we've looked at including one of Livernois' Stage 2 cams and their Stage 2 heads. An alternative we came up with in order to use the currently available 1591 system for LS3's was to use LS3 heads which I understand flow considerably better than LS2 heads and are readily available. Since I want to act on this as quickly as possible as opposed to holding out 2 more months a "couple of weeks" at a time, I'm seriously considering the LS3 head swap. Has anyone else used this combination on thieir LS2's in order to install the E-Force blower? What about just the heads? What kind of result does this produce? I don't have any plans to race the car on a regular basis although I will want to see what it's capable of after the mod's are completed.

I know that N/A guys have done it and if I were you I would do it too, the LS3's flow SOOO much better and should also drop the CR a few points which is better for FI.

Lots of guys have talked about swapping heads to run the E-Force. I don't know anyone who's actually done it but there's no reason why it would not work and work well IMO. The heads are better for sure. The only thing I'd say is that the NA guys who've done it have found it a little finicky about cams. Not sure how good or bad the stock LS2 cam would do with LS3 heads and E-Force but I would swap in an LS9 cam while you're at it.

The cam they're recommending is their Stage 2C designed for use with L92 heads on N/A and S/C'd engines. It's one of their own grinds and spec's at 224/236 .612/.612 @ 117 LSA.

Thats a great grind and fits the s/c setup perfectly, I am going a notch under that with TR's 219/236 117lsa, little less lope in the idle and a s/c motor doesn't need much intake duration but lots of exhaust duration.

Duration is commonly measured at .050 lift. Lift is measured by taking the lobe lift and multiplying by the rocker arm ratio.
