Default I hate waiting... No Vette!

I am not sure how some of you big build guys do it. I am getting my A6 completely built down in Houston, then getting my LSX376 installed, bigger blower, fuel system, yadda yadda.. I am looking at a month with no ride... I am 3 days without it and starting to get the itch again.. The 08' Jag XK is a nice backup, but damn sure no sc'd vette... How Powerlabs lasted, I will never know....

I know what you mean. My ZO6 is at Dallas Performance and supposed to be done on Friday but it's been almost 2 weeks. All I do know is that it's worth the wait. Taylor does awesome work and I know I'm going to love it. I feel like a little kid waiting for my present.

I'm going on five months to have nitrous installed, and the kicker is that I won't even get to enjoy it. The car is going into storage because I'm leaving the country for a few years. I wish I had just enjoyed the car this summer, but in March I never imagined it could take this long.

I'm in the same bucket. IT SUCKS!!! One day I'm excited about making it faster then the next day I'm kicking myself for dumping MORE MONEY into it.

How do shops make money holding cars. They do not charge for rent holding the cars. Unless the customer continues to change the build and the cash flow is not meeting up with the build.

I had to wait a year and a half for my first Stage II motor from Kenny Dutweiller! When you are dealing with the best it's all part of the deal.

And never tell your shop "I'm not i a hurry."
