Edlebrock E-Force Supercharger
Very Stealthy. Works real well with no other mods and provided Edelbrock tune. You will need new tires after you experiment with it for a while. Have only used it for about 100 miles as it is winter here but for those few miles....Wow

I have a brand new one, in the box, that I'll sell real cheap.

I just got the 3inch pulley and fast 65lb injectors.
this is what Motorhead-47 wrote in a previous thread about my car:
've already told Dave (the owner) this but I'd like to share with everyone my impressions of how his car drives. As a reminder, the car is a 2008 Z51 MZ6 convertible and is 100% stock....except for the mouse nest I found under the hood. I took the car for a 60 mile circuit yesterday morning. The purpose was primarily to be confident the car is 100% ready for the owner. He lives 250 miles away and I wanted to give back a car with absolutely no chance of a "do-over". The ride included some in town driving, a bit of 55-65mph in traffic, one 100% throttle squirt up the on ramp onto the interstate and 15 miles on the interstate at 75mph followed by another short ride through town. Folks, I gotta say this is the stealthiest supercharged car I have ever driven! With the NPP's closed, this car gives away no hint of it's abilities. The car started as-stock on a cool 45 degree morning and settled into a stock like 650rpm idle. At idle, with the a/c off, radio off and NPP closed, you can faintly hear the rotors turning through the cowl from the driver's seat. You have to listen very closely to hear it though. Standing outside the car with the engine running and the hood closed it is very hard to hear the supercharger. Pop the hood and you can hear the twin rotors stirring the pot in the supercharger...a sound that is a bit hard to describe. Around town the car has loads of torque and only a very faint blower whine when you accelerate...at least until the NPP's open and then it's all bets off to hear the supercharger. The torque of the Edelbrock makes short-shifting this car a blast. Power comes on very linear and the blower sound to me is much like a large electric motor ramping up to speed. This car demonstrated 100% stock like drive-ability in town. The interstate on ramp....from 0 mph to the top of the ramp as I merged pushed me over 100mph. I had to slow down to merge! Car returned right at 25mpg at 75mph. Off the interstate and back into town and the car behaved 100% as stock. This is all with the Edelbrock hand held tuner calibration. 100% drive-ability. Dave has given up absolutely nothing with respect to stock manners and gained a boatload of power with the upgrade.
Everything Ken said was confirmed by my personal driving. The car is much more fun to drive. The extra power is addictive but has awesome street manners.
Having a stock hood is a plus for me. I actually enjoy looking at the engine bay more than before the install.
The marriage of an E-force to the LS-3 was a 'beautiful thing'
I don't plan to track my car, dyno, or do any other performance mods at this time. I just want to enjoy it as a weekend toy. A much spunkier one at that.
I don't see how you could go wrong.

There isn't an easier bolt on SC than E-Force on the market. That's exactly what's it's designed to do and look factory stock. If the OP is saying there are other options for MORE performance with SC's this is true. Other than that have no clue what he's referring to...
All the research I have done leads me to think while the EForce is under powered as compare to the centri's available. It has the factory look and a bit more expensive.. At the power level it provides it should be safe and too much for the tires to handle anyway. If you want HP bragging rights go Centri. Both styles will overpower the tires anyway. Your call. Their are some other driving differences too, you will have to decide what your driving style and use will be. You will be paying a premium for the EForce OEM look.
I would think for only street driving with no silly grudge racing the EForce power levels would be more than ample, and easier on the cars components. Excluding the tires of course. I have come to the conclusion that 500 rwhp is a safe and performance minded number to have for street only sensible driving style.

I liked the look of the E-Force, the clean installation, wanted lots of low end torque, and wanted to retain my stock hood. I certainly paid more for an E-Force install than what an A&A kit would cost, installed, from my same tuner. But I got what I wanted out of the kit. I'm getting 500 at the wheels which is too much for the run-flats anyway. 400 lb-ft of torque at the wheels at 1,600 RPM so plenty of low end torque, peaking at over 500 lb-ft at higher RPM ranges.
I knew I could get more rwhp for less $$ with a different style of supercharger, but a polished Vortech in front of my engine with various tubes wasn't the look I was going for on this car, nor did I have any reason to need 700 or 800 or 900 HP at the wheels.
My only other comment right now, aside from the comment about a bolt-on versus E-Force, is that an E-Force is not really an option if your other thread seeking a supercharger in the $3,000 range is still in effect. An e-force will not be $3,000 used, for quite a while.

There are 2 versions one is 600 HP and needs the High volumn fuel pump installed. The other is around 550hp and uses the stock fuel pump. Which did you install ?

It's great fun to drive on the street with mountains of low end torque. It's exactly what I wanted so I'm very happy with the E-Force.
