How does this compare to the Z06 pump? I'm getting rid of my BAP and I'm about to select my pump. I had planned on the Z06 for the car. I want the most for the least as does anyone else. <$200 as opposed to >$400 is quite a savings.

The flow of the Z06 pump is debatable but no more than 255 LPH. So this flows lots more. The Z06 pump comes with the bucket as well and retains the venturi. This is just the pump. It's fairly easy to open up the bucket and replace the pump but you would lose the venturi which is, in my mind, not needed.

It is a new part number that was just released. Odds are that the only people with installed experience are the good people at Aeromotive.
We have a stocking order in with Aeromotive, so give us a call if you're interested in trying one out. Obviously, we intend on using one ASAP.
Here is the pump output comparison that was requested. We'll try to answer any more questions that we can.
We currently use a lot of the Walbro 255lph pumps, and they work great. However, there are a lot of copies out there. Always buy from a vendor (like us )that you can trust to supply you with genuine pumps.

I look forward to seeing the results, it would be great if you could test it on a car above 600rwhp with NO BAP to see if it will handle it.

Not only handle "it" but have some kind of longevity too. I don't want a pump that is great for 3 months and then starts making noise and failing to keep up pressure. I really, really, REALLY don't like going into the tank to change fuel pumps that are advertised as high pressure and the greatest thing since sliced bacon that don't have a long life on the job.
Hey! Aeromotive! Do you want a test car with an E-Force?

On 2nd thought, Aeroforce might not like to do business with me. There is a past history floating around!

There are no vehicle specific pumps at this time. They are sold as center and offset I/O versions. We are waiting to hear from the Aeromotive rep as to when they will be shipping to us. Thanks.

I would like for someone to make this pump as a drop in replacement. But in the mean time, if i just wanted to experiment with one pump, would i get the offset or the center?

What I understand is the venturi is used to keep the bucket full without relying on the normal filling function of the bottom gap. You could make more holes in the bucket to fill quicker or have a return line dumping directly into the bucket. For non-racing guys like me, I can get by without the venturi. 1/8 tanks on FI is a scary thought, especially when racing and sloshing the fuel from side to side as that can be disastrous.
