Default Procharger Woes

I dont quite know where to begain, and I dont want to sound like im fishing for pitty I just want advice. Well almost a year ago I while on deployment in Iraq I purchased what I was told was a used C6 D1-SC procharger kit, i think every one can see where this is going already. well when I arrived home from deployment i found that the kit didnt seem quite right. Uppon futher investigation I discovered it was what appears to be a C5 bracket (ab029a-008) and a large left to right front mount intercooler with an asortment of 3" silicone couplers and madrel bent piping leading me to belive that that kit was a coustom single fmic for a C5. once i had determined tis i sought to send it back, alsas PayPal told me no dice and the seller fell off the face of the earth. which left me whith only one recourse to sell the the kit, after adding to the kit a larger pulley and a racetronics fuel pump and wiring harness for a c5 that I had left over from a previous unfinished project. I beeing busy with thprocess of getting out of the army at the time asked a friend to handle the sale for me (I know bad call) well long story short he didnt express well enough that the kit was incompleat (basicly missing a few clamps, couplers, and an air filter) sale went south the kit was returened to my buddy and my paypal expreance worsened. This left me with the kit and quite broke with a C5 braket what might be P1-SC rebuilt by someone other then ATI whith what appeares to be a D1 wheel, a BIG interooler that wouldent work in a C6 a bunch of pipe and silicone. So now I want to know can I with a c6 procharger intercooler make this work?

A P1 and a D1 share the same case.. only difference is compressor wheel. I would see if the intercooler fits behind the nose of your car and if it does, the rest of it is pretty simple to put together.. If you still want to be boosted

the intercool i got is an actul one from an ls3 kit so it fits and goes around the pasenger side so I think I have enough piping to make it connect if the bracket will fit. i think there may be a clearence issue with the throttle body

If your not ready for a 8 rib now. You will be later. Why go through all that again? You've been bit once. Do it rt and be done with it.

At least ask the price on the 8-rib. It might be less than you think. If you can swing it, it's good to have.

Good luck, and thank you for your service.

looks like the DFW crew will get you hooked up! The intercooler you are getting has been in a LS2 and a LS3 car, so you are GTG with it.
