When doing a stand alone system you don't need a high pressure pump, its simple you can buy a regular holley pump and a regular regulator to mantain 6 psi to the gas senonoid.
So if I was going to use the factory system and come off of the rail I'd regulate it down to carb. fuel presurre levels ?? Haha.. Damn, I'm making this harder than it needs to be.
Did a little research and I do need a high pressure fuel pump for the stand alone. Just FYI, haha.. But I'm still looking for a recomendations for an economical choice that will git it done. Thanks..

As an experienced nitrous man I thought you knew its all about the jets and the system, he said stand alone which can be a carb system and it will work pefect.
I'm using a nitrous outlet single nozzle set up, if that helps(and yes its an EFI system). And I've decided to do a stand alone fuel system for saftey and sanity. With a 150 shot I will exceed my in tank pump limits even with a hotwire/BAP setup. I'm roughly at 550ish at the flywheel so another 150ish will push the pump beyond its limits, is what I've been told. Or there close to it.
So I'm looking for info on a pump and regulator for a stand alone system. Thanks

And just FYI, some of you may know but the C5Z pump is the same pump as the C6 standard pump. Thought I would say that since I'm in the C6 forum section. But as you all probably know, late 03' and on was the saddle tank top mount C6 fuel system design. Again thanks
