thinking about super-charged c6
I am looking at upgrading from my OO Vert to a Callaway-modded 2007 Vert.
I have only checked out the pix on the web and am going to look at it tomorrow but I had a couple of Callaway-related questions.
1. It's an automatic. At first I thought it was a mistake on the web listing but the third-party person selling it confirmed it was an automatic.
I kinda wondered about the wisdom of super-charging an automatic - I mean isn't this the exception rather than the rule. Is it done often? If so, are there issues for the transmission? What about that kinda torque at the low gears?
2. Are there any other issues I need to be concerned about when you look at a Callaway car? It's got 10K miles on it.
3. If you call Callaway with the VIN, will they tell you what they did to the car or there a privacy issue here? I'm not sure what documentation there is with the car. I will know a lot more tomorrow.
