Yes, that's my vette. The head unit is contacting the cow/firewall and making enough noise in the cabin that I was contemplating on un-installing the E-Force. Apparently the earlier kits, such as mine, did not have the spacers included in the kit. In talking to Edlebrock, they definitely need to be installed on LS2's to avoid this kind of situation. If you don't have this problem on an LS2, you lucked out.
It was disconcerting to say the least when I'm being told by the installer that the noise was normal but everyone else who has these units says you don't even know there is a SC under the hood until you mash it.
Thanks to Ken (Motorhead-47) and Craig (cthusker) for their insight and help to isolate the problem and to check out the clearance of the head unit from my firewall otherwise I'd be in a real quandary.
The good news is it only takes about 5 minutes to install those spacers with the car on a lift and an impact wrench in hand!
