I see even Vortech is getting in on the "heat pump" business these days! I guess if you can't beat em' you might as well join em'!

Probably would have been more if it weren't 103 degrees and 89% humidity on dyno day. Or if we were shooting for max HP. As it is, EnglandGreen gave me a safe tune and I'm happy with it for what I do with the car.

To about 4500rpm, the E-Force has more torque than the A&A kit. After that, the centrifugal maintains a pretty flat 500ft-lb from 4750ish to redline. Also, about 4750 the E-Force power gains really start to flatten, where the A&A continues to go up nearly 80rwhp more. You've got an A6, when you're WOT and it's shifting, you will not be down low in the band, see what I'm saying? The A&A kit is more street-able down low because you can hook better/less torque strain on your A6, and because when WOT you will be faster than the E-Force because you aren't flattening off, you're still making more power.

Burning more rubber will definitely be a different experience though
That "analysis" is garbage. So if I understand you correctly, what you are saying (indirectly) is that if I had two identically prep'd (your examples are not close to the same) cars, one with a centri producing 8psi at 6,000rpm and one with a PD blower producing 8psi at 6,000rpm they are going to have different horsepower levels at that same rpm?

Here is some more information on my 2006 A6.

I had a Vortech (A&A type) supercharger which was putting down 521rwhp at 6 psi and that was plenty enough for me. I am not planning on anything more. I am only getting the E-Force since I was getting tired of my car and just figure that the PD supercharger would be different from my old supercharger. I don't drive my car hard and don't really go to the drag race much.

I think I will be happy with the current stock 3.875 in pulley however would just like an idea on what kind of rwhp number and boost pressure I would be seeing.

I did purchase the 3.5 in pulley however I don't think I will be putting it on unless my HP is really low (something like 450rwhp or less).

My A6 was tuned when I got my supercharger tuned so hopefully that will make my A6 last longer but I don't really do much hard driving.
I have LS2 06, manual (bone stock) with a E-Force and 3.875 pulley and got 500 rwhp
at ECS on a 90+ deg day. Dyno'd again on cooler day and got right at 525 rwhp. This was not with the Edlebrock tune as ECS did a custom tune. I'm running the stock fuel pump which Edlebrock says is fine with the 3.8 pulley. The Z06 pump comes with the higher HP kit and is necessary... period!

System runs excellent with zero issues to date.... If I down size the pulley I'll have a Z06 pump installed. I do not want a BAP and do not trust over driving the stock pump. A Z06 or any after market pump is a lot of added expense (labor) but it's necessary for safer hp gains....

All things considered I love the E-Force fit, finish and street manners...

Thanks, this is great information. I would be very happy with anything over 470rwhp which I am hoping to get since I do have LG Headers.

I am sure I will like the everyday experience over my Vortech.

I don't plan on installing the 3.5 in pulley but purchased just in case so will probably sell it to someone after my installation.

I would agree. Had the E force for 4 weeks now. All acceleration is subjective and I won't debate others on it's merits, however for pure instant turbine like power output, I couldn't be happier.
