Can you mix e85 and 93 to raise the octane rating or will the fuel system not keep up from the added E85? Any explanation will be much appreciated. Thanks

E85 Produces less energy per unit burned, which is why people report a 30% drop in fuel economy. Because of that while you can mix Ethanol into regular gas to make any eXX quantity you want, it won't change the fact that you need to tune for it and plan to deliver more fuel.
Short answer: yes, but it has all the drawbacks of going e85 without having as big of pluses (why not just run e85 or e90 at that point) plus unless you're buying it from a fuel dealer you won't be accurate enough to tune based on your guesstimate.
so, re-thunk short answer: NO, do not use e85 as an octane booster if that's what you had in mind.
Adding ethanol will raise your octane, but as above you might as well simply run E85 and setup your tune appropriately for it.
Small amounts of ethanol have a great benefit when injected separately from and prior to gasoline, in terms of cooling for prevention of detonation, but you don't exactly have a secondary array of injectors to achieve this.
Not worth the complexity I would guess. Might as well just run 100% Ethanol at that point.
