hey dustin
will the ls7 whipple supercharge kit will fit under this hood? its the lingenfelter SV5 supersmooth hood. its the only hood i can stand which is my only holdback
Its highly doubtful that it will fit under that hood. The only hood I can guarantee fits is the RK Sport hoot, as we worked with them to make it fit. The LS7 engine is even closer to the hood then the LS3.
puffft! Looks like there room for 2 4.0ltrs on top! anyone fancy its? driveshaft could run down the middle between the blowers. Hight wouldn't be impacted too much?

But width definitely would be and from what I heard from the Guys over at Whipple there is some work to be done to fit this to the Corvette platform. The 4.0L is over 1" taller and 2" longer than the 2.9L which is already a tight squeeze.
Just found this while searching for information about the 4.0L & 4.5L blowers. Looks like this is the 4.0L fitted for the COPO Camaro.
This is in fact a 4.0L but it is not available through Whipple at this time. Chevrolet Performance makes their own front snout and rear gears for this to work. It WILL be available through Chevrolet Performance later and we are working with Whipple to get one made through Whipple.

So who will release it first? Chevrolet Performance or Whipple?
