Default New D1 blower alignment Problem

Ok, put the D1 procharger on my z06 and as we were doing a dyno pull the blower belt came off as if the blower pulley is off a Rib. I lasered the pulleys and the Procharger is off a rib ..Now how do I fix that? well I thought of getting two new spacers from Procharger, shorter ones that is, or I can put the pulley on a lathe and take a 3/16 off the back of it and it should bring it closer to the motor, or I'm thinking of flipping the pulley over. I have heard sometimes that Procharger sends them out backwards from the factory...Not sure if that's true or not, but I'm going to try and flip the pulley (turn it over) before I take any material off the pulleys shaft or mating surface.

Does anybody have any better ideas before I do one of those three things? Has anyone ever heard of this happening before, as far as alignment problems?

Also, keep in mind, the belt started giving us a problem in the third pull, the first two the belt was fine.

You need to adjust the alignment thru the spacers. ie-Add washers, remove material from spacers, etc. Use the laser tool and get everything lined up with the crank pulley and you should be back in business. Working to get belts lined up is nothing new in the world of installing S/C so don't feel bad.

I've always had good luck making sure the numbers stamped on the pulley face the back of the car. How is yours setup?

I'm not sure about which way the #'s are facing, but it should be pretty obvious when you slide it on the shaft and see if it lines up right or not. Seems like the #'s are usually facing the blower where you can't read them.
