I had a new complete fuel system put on my car about 250 miles ago. This is a return style system with all new lines, pump and fuel rails. Fist time the car got to 1/2 tank of fuel the fuel gauge went to empty and service fuel system came on. Filled the car and all was good again.
Next time I went to 1/2 a tank the same thing happened but the car started stalling out. I got to a gas station and could only pump 2 gallons of gas in it?
The gauge moved back, and the car ran fine again for a few miles.
Got the car back home, let it cool and started it again. I took it back to the gas station and could only get 2 gallons back in it. The fuel pressure gauge is fluttering between 28-36.
The car is running like it's not getting enough fuel.
It seems like there is an issue with the crossover tube, or that pump. It seems like it is also cuasing an issue with the overall fuel system.
Anyone had this issue?
If so what is the fix?
Thanks for any help.

Raise you base fuel above 50psi with vac. connected car idling.
Yep... your syphon pump may not working correctly, only one tank is filling with fuel and it's the one with the fuel sender.
Also Any time you drain the tanks this will happen, drive for 1/4 tank (gauge showing 3/4 tank) and go refill I've learned this lesson the hard way twice
