Default Questions about my setup

So I recently purchased my 2005 Z51 and have some questions about it. I am very knowledgable about cars and have been researching a lot of setups similar to mine but haven't really gotten the answers I want.

The currently have a V-2 T trim Vortech supercharger with a 4.5" pulley, 60lb injectors, Corsa Sport Exhaust, and high flow cats. The car made 511whp/430wtq on a conservative tune. Are these numbers normal for the setup?

Also I understand that I will need something like a BAP for bigger numbers, but what would get me to 600whp. I know throwing a 3.8" pulley on there will bump up the boost...but will a cam and longtubes get me there? Also I know I can run meth, and the car is a weekend warrior, so that is an option as well.

Driveline wise I know I will need a better clutch of course...maybe the LS9 or something else? And maybe an ECS transmission brace?

Thanks ahead of time for all the help guys, and sorry if my questions are redundant.

With 3.8 pulley/LT headers/BAP/better tune you would probably be very close to 600rwhp. Meth would most likely push you over the edge.

You might want to ahead and replace the rear end as well while you are changing the clutch. The rear IS going to break.

For more power, a good cam, pulley change, LT's and Meth should get you up in the 700's or close.

Awesome! That's exactly what I want!

Oh wow....I could hit 700 with that?? That's not too crazy to reach with those things then.

Also what rear end would be good to go with since the 05 will break at some point??

My 06 A6 car also with a T-trim on a safe tune is making 522/448. Depending on conditions and dyno differences you're right in the ball park. If I were you, do headers first(25hp or so across the board). Sometime this summer Im going meth and pulley.

Numbers sound about normal for what you have I guess.(Not too familiar with Vortech, I'm a procharger type of guy). I was making 550 on a conservative tune with headers and a D1SC @ 8-9 psi. With a cam, pulley swap and meth I am at 695 on a stock bottom LS2.

When I blew my rear apart I called RPM and upgraded to the TR-6060 and C6Z rearend. Haven't had a problem since. I have made some pretty hard launches on some sticky tires and she's still holding strong.

I would also advise you to invest in a fuel pump instead of the BAP. The stock pump will only last so long when you are trying to get that much fuel out of it.

Awesome! And that way my plan actually....get all of the expensive items out of the way first and then go from there. Sounds like I'm right where I should be!

Thank you very much for the tips! I will give them a call and see what's up. So are most people blowing their transmission, or their differential??

Also, which fuel pump would you suggest going with? Or should I go with something like the AA fuel upgrade kit?
