Default LS3 heads?

I am building a forged LS2 short block and planning to use LS3 heads, but have been reading they have issues pushing water. Is this an issue at high boost or just an issue period? I haven't ironed out the final details yet but my set up will most likely be what mentioned above with a Vortech T trim around 12-14psi (around 700-750rwhp at most), and bolt ons. Would it be worth the extra money to just go to LSA heads for the thicker deck?

Don't know where that infofmation was mentioned but I do know my 2008 with LS3 heads was making 738rwhp on the stock motor with the stock heads and never had an issue with the heads, I was also told the LS3 heads was the best OEM heads.
I see no reason why you should have any issues with those heads on your LS2 block. Best of luck with your build and I know it would be a very nice performance car when its finish.

4 bolt stock casting heads do have issues, but at your planned power level some good mls gaskets and head studs and you are a.o.k.

Thanks guys. I saw it over on LS1tech. I figured it would be fine since I see a lot of stock motored LS3s at the power I want but figured I'd ask before I got to far along in the build.
