Default *****upp twin turbo- new upgrades, new results******

We have now fully completed the external wastegate upgrade and are successfully running it on two C6's. C5's will be comming soon. For higher boost applications (10+psi) this seems to be a bit more stable to control, and much easier to setup as adjusting the wastegates to match on the internal setup can be somewhat of a hassle.

408 stroker, Spin's cam, 14psi on E85, 818/859. The only reason we stopped is the car was having a bit too much crank case pressure, and we were using a budget boost controler that couldn't opperate both valves on the wastegates.

Enjoy.....

That is solid.
600tq by 3500rpm is nice.
Very good results.
The wastegates vent thru the plastic under carriage?
That might make me a bit uncomfortable.
I'd probably extend them a bit further to gain some clearance, but I am guessing you haven't had any issues with anything melting.
Either way, nice job!

edit-I can see it is only recessed on the passenger side.

Actually it's a 402 Ls2 Aluminum block.. Motor has 11 to 1 compression.

Drove the car today... Very quick and sounds wonderful.. UPP has themselves a very nice kit.

Wow, thats really high compression for a boosted motor. Hopefully it holds up.

They're T04B-SH trims. It's like a 58mm.

No, no problem with the plastic yet. Figure the most you're really going to see heat from these is in say a 1/4 mile pass, so about 10 seconds continously. And we have enough clearance that 10sec worth of exhaust heat coming out doesn't hurt anything.

Yea, that was my only concern, but as I said, I guessed you had already checked everything out.
Could always make those clearance holes bigger, too, if it became a problem.

Like I said, very nice kit and results!
Any potential pricing on something like this?

The external setup is going to be +$300 over the base pricing, though we might just make it a perminate change.

No they're not BB, they're journal bearing, and the turbos are capable of supporting upto 1100hp. Bone stock LS2's with meth and a very mild tune on 8psi we're seeing 600+.

As a suggestion, if possible, you should offer BB as an option. A few hundred $ would add a nicer and quicker boost and the turbos will last longer too.

I would.
Externals are just a better solution, unless someone is going to run a very mild boost setup.
My guess is most people considering this kit would like room to grow, and the external gates give that option.

Base price on the C6 is $5500, and +$300 for the external setup, but this is an intro pricing right now.

As far as the HP #'s, everything we post as results is actually WHP.
