Just bought an 09 C6 / LS3 and i am looking to purchase and have a supercharger installed. Need some assistance.
Plan on drving the car and reliablility is a huge concern of mine. I also dont want a system that has many modifications to the car , as close to 100% bolt on system as possible. I was leaning towards the Magnuson untill i spoke to a few installers and they mentioned "not enough bang for the buck" same for the edelbrock.
Any guidance or experiances with different systems and installers on the east coast would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
look into the A&A system. It is a centrifugal supercharger and definitely plenty of bang for the buck. Also easy to bolt-on and take off if you ever decide to sell. plus easy to up the boost if you ever decide to.
It all depends on what you are looking for weather i would suggest a centrifugal or a roots style(edelbrock, Maggie). We have a few centrifugal in the shop right now and are doing an edelbrock on a 2010 Grand sport next week. Feel free to give me a call and we can get a better idea of what you will be the happiest with.
Doug do I need an appointment or can i Just drop in?
Like they said, just stop in.... we have our kit on a engine display, and more than likely there will be a car here with the kit on it.... If you want to call first fell free.... 609-752-0321

Definitely go with ECS. 646/593 on my '06 LS2 with the SL 1500, only 9.5 psi boost, meth, exhaust and a small cam. The car trapped 137 in the 1/4 mile and was a blast to drive with all the low end torque. Since you have an LS3, you can should see similar numbers as mine without even changing your cam (see Vetter 1 as an example)
