Congrats to 1SwtRide & 07blkvette on thier feature articles in Vette Magazine!!!
ECS would like to congratulate two ECS customers on getting feature articles in Vette Magazine!!!!
First was John C in his amazing 07 C6 with a ECS Novi 1500 package with Meth. This car was handpicked as a celebrity choice winner at Corvettes of Carlisle in 2010 by Vette magazine editor Jay Heath. And deservedly so! This beautiful car has a flawless ZR1 Body conversion and ECS Novi 1500 system with meth that puts out 711HP at the tires. That’s 800+ at the Crank!!! Best of all John did pretty much all his own work on the car - short of the tuning which was done here at ECS.
Johns article is on pages 26-30 of the July Issue and the entire article is now online at http://www.vetteweb.com/features/vem...tte/index.html
Great Photos John!!! I'd love to get them for our new website!!!!
Second is 1SwtRides 1000+RWHP 2006 Z06 which received a 6 page spread in the September issue of Vette. (Should be in your mail box and newsstands now...)
This article take a look at two of our recent "ECS Hardcore Edition" builds, both pushing more than 1000+HP at the tires. Johns car grabbed the opening spread, and rightfully so.
Here's John's 1066RWHP Z next to Hector C's 1070RWHP Z - Two absolutely silly rides.
Congrats guys!!!!

HUGE PROPS to the ECS
How friggin cool is that! Thanks ECS crew - my 9 yo son, my 65 yo father and I are amazed that I own a car the made its way into a magazine. Such a cool / surreal feeling.
p.s. we need to make sure the interweb-super-never-goes-away-record accurately reflects that Doug "blew up" the dynapack with not 1066 rwhp (as you can see, I got a tad bit anxious to get the car by buying the the badges from Austin Barret before we put in ECS big blower cam!!!!), but rather somewhere north of 1088 rwhp / 940/50 rwtq in April before the dang thing aborted the runs for exceeding the programs maximum torque ratings. Just sayin'
p.p.s. Douglas Ring - may I request a re-dyno on MS109 (I've got a 5 gallon can sitting in my garage) so I can do a final, not to be redone ECS badge. It's getting expense purchasing new badges from Austin every time you bump my numbers up. hahaha

We cant talk about making 1088 in April, or maxing out the dyno afterwards, because it wasn't 32* out then John. (just bustin' ... guys)
Lets save the MS 109 tuning for the track, no need to race on a dyno. Plus I would have to use someone else's dyno anyway, ours maxes out around 1100rwhp. Actually 4000nm of tq, but it changes with gear ratio etc. I dont know exactly how it's determined, but 1100 is about where it shuts down.

Count me in for the MS109 track tuning
