Default Blue Devil 900hp YSi

Hey Fellas !

I got a chance to hit the rollers down at Champion Motors today. The clutch is acting up a little but we still managed to get er done !

Details on the build :

A&A YSi Kit
Stock LS7 Head
3.625 stroke x 4.125 bore 397ci
8 Inch Balancer, 2.95 Blower (Flip Drive)

Thanks to Rob, Pete, Fern, Alex, & Kevin at Champion Motors ! Thanks to Arun for sending me the idler I needed to keep consistant belt tension.

The car actually made constant power gain to 7000 rpm until the clutch started slipping. Can't catch a break with this clutch situation.

Power sounds low for that combination. How much boost?

Car we just finnished up made 915rwhp @ 6500 (loaded dyno) on a 3" pulley, 8 rib setup, no flip drive (no belt slip). 9.0 Comp 364ci. This was at 17.8lbs on 93 with Meth.

Id think that engine has quite a bit more on the table.

Yes, as I said the clutch was slipping. We let her cool down after it slipped and picked up another 100hp.

How fast did you go at the track with all that power ? You are talking to a nine second guy smashing gears BTW

I think the clutch needed some break in time before pulling these kind of numbers. The dips you see in the graph around 5500 and 6500 were actually clutch slipping I am confident she will put down 950hp.

I congratulate you on the numbers. We pretty much had the same numbers and, while it ran, it was a blast. I had a Fidanza twin disc in mine and it held pretty well. Mine ultimately blew up again so I envy those with running cars! Enjoy.

Bump the timing and you should hit 950 with no problems. What are your AFR's at WOT? You shouldnt have to spin over 6500rpm if your making 18lbs by then.
