I am looking at a nitrous express kit. Part number 20422-10. It is a wet system. Going with a purge kit. Just going 100 shot to be on safe side. I know I have to pull the timing so that is no big deal.
I have a 05 with auto with K&N cai, and cow tune in my car. Is there anything else I may have overlooked on this system?
Please no fights over nitrous vs n\a vs blown. I dont have the money to go that route yet.
Well by the time I added a purge kit, window unit, bottle heater and kit, it comes in over 1150 dollars. That does not include the progressive controller Slo-Poc told me about which is 285.00. The dont tell you all the extras you need to go with the kit. Then I will have to drive 25 miles one way to fill tank.
I would wait on the progressive controller until you're blowing the tires off. But personally I like having a pressure gauge up front...not a necessity.

how do you get a pressure gauge hooked up front? i get tired of looking over my shoulder at the one on the bottle.
Someone told me about a cold fusion system. LS2 90mm plate kit complete CFN-1106 LS2 plate kit complete. Adjustable from 100-250. A complete Plate kit that WILL produce the power you need!!! Fits 05-06 corvettes & GTO. It looks very interesting.
Also a controller from Harris speed works.
I just want to get everything right the first time around and get all I need to make it as safe as possible.
Also read from a post of a nano kit that is used instead of a heater. I havent been able to find anything out about it.
Thanks for all your help and suggestions. This is a big project for me and all help is appreciated.
I've heard the Harris speed works micro edge controller is one of the best. I have a nano kit with the lsx plate running a 125 shot. The nano does take up a little extra space but makes the system much more efficient. If you're not planning on spraying more than 100shot, I'd recommend a dry kit for simplicity purposes. Plus you can hide it and not have to change your tune.
Mine is an 07. I upgraded to the katech ls9 clutch when I did my cam package. It puts down about 690 on the 125 shot and holds all the power. You'll like your set up, it sounds almost identical to mine.
Well the kit I am looking at going with. Cold fusion wet plate system. Harris speed works controller, and c6 cup holder switches. dyno tune gauges, nano system kit 3000 sport, Zex lighted purge kit.
Sounds right. Just make sure you have the right brackets and mounting equipment for the nano and nitrous bottle. Post some pics when it's installed. I'd like to see that LED purge in action
