FYI, somewhere in the recesses of my old and rusty brain, I recall that the Z06 does not have the issue as the C6 non Z06. Your reset seemed appropriate to you for the circumstances you had. I did not replace the ECM. I did not have to change the OS, I have smooth idling, good performance (good is a relative word and I am exploring some small HP numbers I have), the ONLY thing wrong with this car is is doesn't like to stop. Sigh...

I still have to do some driving testing today and see if the relearn actually did something for my issue of dieseling. I'm doubting that it solved the problem.

Started the car. Drove about 1 block and shut it off. Dieseled. Started the car and finished driving around the block. Pulled car into garage and shut it down. No dieseling.

As I said, I don't think the CPS Re-Learn is a mandatory function of the install unless you replace the OS or ECM as you did.

If I had that, I'd think my car would run badly, miss, idle terrible, or something to indicate a bad sensor, not to mention it tossing a DTC complaining about a problem.

So, back to the drawing boards.

It may not set a code. Have you tried hooking up Tech 2 and checking each cylinder ?

For misfires? I'm not tossing any codes even when at WOT on the dyno.

Misfires may not set a code. The SCT showed nothing .on the Tech2 no code but when you check each cylinder , it showed misfire.

Well, we'll know very soon. It was due to arrive today at the shop. I just checked UPS, per their records it was delivered at around 11:15 AM today.

Hey guys, just to chime in on the 07 C6 Eforce issue...I installed mine about 6 months ago and with the Edel tune had no dieseling! Car performance was great but would die after a bump in the throttle or a push in on the clutch after coming to stop. I contacted Edel and they told me to download the latest tune which I did with no change at all to driveability. Took to a local shop to tune it so we could get it to Idle and bamm.... now it Diesels! Every Fricken Time! Got to be the tune.

Realcanuk, are you running the 550HP kit or the 599HP kit? What all did you change on the Exaust....sounds like a great reason for some headers!!!

599 kit. Added ARH 1 7/8 headers and cats. I believe Elmer added headers and still has the problem which makes me think its the tune, but it really is a mystery.

I hate it for him...I have given up on projects in less time he has been trying to fix this one. Tough to believe that Edel would let a problem like this go unresolved for this long even if it is isolated!!
