Default Pulley size - boost

SO,

I have a stoc LS2 with headers and exhaust.

I'm building a supercharger setup with a V-3 SCi, A&A bracket, A&A intake, 60lb injectors, custom intercooler setup, meth (just for cooling and safety).

The blower comes with 3.8" pulley. What boost should I expect ?

What the highest boost I can run on the stoc LS2 safe with 95 fuel ? What pulley do I need for this ?

Do I need a boost a pump ?

Thanks,
Mihai

I'm running about 14psi on a stock LS2

Forget the boost a pump and upgrade the fuel system.

the a and a kit comes with a 3.8" pulley and uses a boost a pump. I think its safe to say you need the boost a pump at minimum.

you can get by with a boost pump for now, depending on location high elevation sea level i have seen 3.8 pulleys make 12psi on a cool 50 degree night, put a 3.4 on and just tune for it

i ran 20 lbs of boost into my LS2 short for 3 years of severe abuse until last fall.....baaaaaaaaboom.
a qualified tune and meth & you should be good....especially with 95.
not sure what boost you will have....14.
have fun.

My A&A kit produces 10-11 psi with the 3.8" pulley on my otherwise stock LS-2 (with long tube headers and high flow cats).

Mine was reading the same on the guage. We hooked it up on a mainline dyno and it was reading 8.5 on a 3.8 DIA pulley. A&A said for every .2 you go down you get roughly 2lbs.

With 95 octane+meth, I would go with a 3.4-3.6 pulley.

With the stock balancer(close to 7.5 inches), and the SI having a 3.60 step up ratio(I believe)

3.4 pulley at 6800rpms=54,000rpms on the head unit
3.6 pulley at 6800rpms=51,000rpms on the head unit

The SI is rated at 52,000rpms, but you won't pass that for just a split second if you bounch of the limiter at 6800rpms, and I wouldn't worry about it. 95 Octane would be awesome to have locally! With that and meth, you should be fine on a good tune. On 91, with no meth, I'd keep the 3.8. Good luck.
