Default added 100 shot

Decked heads, QM600 cam, ported tb and intake, AR headers

Then add a 100 shot from a Nitrous Outlet plate kit.

Yee Haw!

Nice, how high is the compression now? Any work done to the heads besides that?

The heads were decked .030", compression should be about 12:1. They were also ported, flow pretty good.

Hey I was in your town Wednesday, lot of mountains and amazing eye candies. Now you are saying you lower your compression and then added nitrous? Hmmmmm, just be carefull because nitrous don't like that.

Decking the heads reduces the combustion chamber volume and increases compression. Up from 11:1 to about 12:1.

Yes Albuquerque is HIGH desert, my house is at 6,000 feet, and the mountain in my backyard is 11,000 feet. Pretty country once you get used to the dryness.

Great numbers! Getting ready to do mine too with a very identical setup .. are you still on your stock clutch? Also what are you using to pull timing?

I'm on the LS9X clutch, it seems to be holding. I'm using the Lingenfelter LS2000 for timing retard.

In truth, the SAE numbers overcompensate for N2O. The 100 shot added a very real 100 rwhp.

I also plan on doing a 100 shot, my car made 561whp 510wtq but I'm on stock heads and throttle body. I have a bigger cam tho LG 7XX. You def made me want to add a kit now.

Did you have a chance to get any track times? I wonder what your car should trap.

You'll trap 140ish. I have the same mods but with the mamba cam.

Awesome setup. I need to convince my local friend here in Utah to do the same.

The NHRA officials said I needed a 4 point to race at the track, and that was BEFORE the nitrous. I was trapping 127 (Very high DA, over 6,000') and would guess 135 here.

Black Widow: I'm running a wet kit, so stock injectors work fine. Don't know how much the stock pump can handle, but again because of the high altitude here, I'm REALLY only pushing 570 rwhp, with the nitrous.

SAE numbers are impressive, no?
