Default help!!! STC programmer that came with 1572 e-force

I have a 2008 z06 with the e-force 1572 kit, car ran fine with no issues so I thought it might run even better if I updated the tune from Edelbrock since they have an update for the 1572 kit on their web site “X3P-Edelbrock-v123-US-3416E-GM.lfu”, So I followed instructions, reverted back to the sock tune, launched the stc software updater, pressed transfer file to device and pointed to the X3P-Edelbrock-v123-US-3416E-GM.lfu file. Once completed I unplugged the device from the usb cable and plugged the programmer back into the car and started programming it, it gets to the final stage “calculating checksum please wait” reaches 100% and I get an “Error:1058 can’t transfer file”.

Programmer info:
Serial# XP061511FCE3C
ECC type: 119
Firmware ver: 1.2.127.02
Tune ver: 1.2.2E

I also updated the firmware and tune through the web Firmware ver: 1.2.127.02 and tune ver.1.2.3E, I still receive the same error message “Error:1058 can’t transfer file”. (image on link below)

Things I tried:
Disconnected the battery for 10 min, same problem.
Unplugged on-star fuse, (read it somewhere) same problem.
Re-flashed the device from the web..
Re-Flashed the device with X3P-Edelbrock-v123-US-3416E-GM.lfu provided by Edelbrock.
Made sure programmer reverted back to stock tune, and it was..

Anyone have any ideas on this? SCT and Edelbrock are currently closed, I was going to shoot an email or call but I guess it will needs to wait until tomorrow.
Any suggestions on this would be appreciated, I’m at a lost here…. Does anyone have another .lfu file and firmware file I could try?

I had problems on my 2007 1594. Edelbrock had me jump through a lot of hoops then finally I made them overnight me a programmer and that resolved the problem. The had me flash the ECU, call SCT, pull fuses.
