I am sure they will goto the track, but for now he can settle for the highest power record.

Was that 1,140rwhp record set before George from TTIX started using the dual ceramic ball bearing Precision 6265s?

Hello from 2012!

Still a valid question...

I have a TTIX system with the newest dual ball bearing Precision 6265s, billet aluminum intake manifold, E98 fuel, Trxas Speed's PRC 265 aftermarket casting LS7 heads milled .30 over,m with titanium intake valves, Pat G spec'ed cam and shooting for 1,200 + rwhp on an LME built 7.1 liter aluminum motor. Also using distilled water to aid with potential detonation and cooling.
Think I have any chance?

I have a thread from this century in the Forced Induction section titled "Anyone Wanna Take a Shot?"

Yeah I saw the thread. That combo has put down 1200+ multiple times, so whats your question? Do I think it can? Yes. Do you think it can? Stop worrying about it and just see. If it doesn't just work on it some more like all of us have.

You guys must have modified the TTIX kit or something cuz (yes, it was 90 degrees outside) on legit E85, my car only making 1,022rwhp and that's on a Dyno Jet. I have the dual ceramic ball bearing Precision 6265s with similar displacement (434 cubic inch all aluminum LS motor from LME, 10.1:1 compression, low rise PMC billet aluminum intake manifold, PRC 265 LS7 heads flowing 388, turbo specific camshaft, no cats, LG x-pipe, B&B exhaust, ID 1700 fuel injectors, dry sump oil system, Aeromotive Eliminator external fuel pump). Not running out of fuel either.

Any thoughts or opinions as to why such low numbers compared to others out here on the forums with similar set up and same twin turbo kit?

The tuner is Alpha from Induction Performance, according to Pro EFI (the ECU I'm using) the most prolific tuner of their ECU and biggest seller of it as well. So I'm not thinking it's because of hi at all. It's just something I just be missing here.

When people post new threads asking questions on old topics... they get ridiculed for "zomg lrn to search".

When someone searches and finds a thread they want to ask a question about... they get ridiculed for bumping an old thread....

Not entirely surprised. But what was the timing and lambda?

Those questions are way over my head lol! I'm not a tuner or even knowledgeable enough on tuning to know what lambda is. Sorry.

I can find out from my tuner (Alpha from Induction Performance down in Tampa), but I would have to wait until Monday because he is having surgery today and will be recovering for the next few days.

I know that the TTIX has tiny T3 turbo flanges and that likely has a lot to do with it. Also, those tiny 6265s and probably mismatched for my 7.1 liter motor (especially up top), but I see that many of you guys on the forum have made around 1,200rwhp with this kit and its turbos.

-Scratching my head.

LOL! I know. That's why I stopped caring about comments like that long ago. I just hope a decent formum member has something constructive to say. Any ridicule falls on deaf ears.

Do you think I'm stuck with 1,022rwhp on legit E85 possibly because I'm not using meth injection?

For your 1022rwhp dyno pull:

1. What were your IAT temps?

2. What was your logged manifold pressure?

3. I'm also curious about your waste gate setup. Have the waste gates been moved from the original location for the TTiX kit?

the wastegates are in the original position. Is there a different position that would be more suitable?

You didn't mention your boost level or IAT temps. Is 1022 rwhp the most it will make? Is it on kill?

So we have zero information and you want us to tell you why it didn't make more power? No idea lambda/AFR, no idea on timing, no idea on IAT's.

Have you ever driven a 1000rwhp car?

Made well in excess of 1400rwhp on a 62mm t3 style combo. It isn't the 62mms holding you back.

Probably not on a 400+ cube motor?

That's probably the hold up if I was just guessing on the limited info.

Yep on a 427. I think Cpr is out at Dyno right now making 1300+ through a 4l80 on a Tt 427. Other local shop did 1120 on a 416 4l80 combo and only reason it was only 1120 was any more spun tires on Dyno. Lack of meth isn't limiting car to 1020.

What kinda turbos?? I've heard of 1400 and 1500rwhp with the aps style stuff. Which looks really similar to a t3, with those 6766 units.
