S Trim or T trim
Got a 07' LS2, stock bottom end but have LS3 heads, Comp Cam 224/228
LG Heads, ported TB.
I have a current SQ Trim from A&A and only put down 575 RWHP at 8.91 lbs of boost running a 3.6" pulley. Looking to upgrade to Andy's latest kit but unsure if I should go with the T-trim or regular S-trim on the stock bottom end.
Love the way T-trims sound and for later down the road when I think about forging the bottom end or doing a motor swap I think the T-Trim will be able to have the power to keep up.
Though, on the stock bottom end will a T-trim be to much for the motor as it stands today? I don't want to have a dog chasing the tail type of scenario.
What do you guys recommend? S trim or T trim?
I'm perfectly content with that because any more and I'd need an R compound tire, which I don't want to run on the street. Right now I can hook 2nd gear WOT, and that's perfect for me.
If you want over 700rwhp go T trim. If you want under go Si Trim.
The T Trim likes to be spun harder. If you put a T Trim on with the same pulley, I doubt there would be much difference. It will probably make less down low.
If you spin the T Trim hard enough to take advanatage of it's high RPM airflow, you'll have more boost that you want for a stock motor.
Now if you're planning on building a motor in the near future, it may pay to do the T Trim.

Hey Andy,
I bought that kit from you on Friday and sent you an email looking to swap the S trim for the T trim. I am tired of doing things twice and agree the T trim will be a better move given the plans for the car. Is a 3.4" pulley run the T trim at its preferred RPM range? Or what pulley would you advise given my set up?
Thanks everyone!
