How long does it take to install the eforce supercharger? I had a quote of ~30 hours.
Thanks
I installed 2, both took around 30 hr . Make sure you have a 1/4 drive 10 mm universal socket . Move steering rack left side of car . not right, if its a Zo6 ,oil /air cooler is a bitch to install , Your don't have to remove the cat. ''and the power is unreal
My local dealer is an authorized Edelbrock installer. They sell Camaro's with the kit and have two on their lot right now. They told me they never did a Corvette though.
They quoted me $7500 for the 544 hp kit and $9000 for the 599 hp kit (on an LS3) PLUS installation at ~30 hours or ~$2500-$3000. So ~$10,500-$12,000 installed which is more than Lingenfelter's published price. I did not get any pricing from any forum tuners who do the install.
What is nice about the local dealer is he has a written warranty (in addition to the Edelbrock one) covering the powertrain for 3/36000 or the remainder of the original GM one. Basically, he still covers the original GM warranty even though he installs the SC.

There is a lot of "value" in those facts. A local dealer, experience with the product, capable and willing to extend the warranty
Lingenfelter quotes $9,000 for the 599HP kit installed, vs your dealer's $9,000 quote un installed. No question in my mind as to whom I would purchase from. LPE wouldn't be using your car as a test bed to learn how to install an E-Force on a Corvette.
The only thing about the LPE quote on their web site, is that they don't mention in their specs as to which fuel system they use....the Z06 fuel pump(that comes with the E-Force 599 kit) or a ?????? system. Personally, I would want the Z06 fuel pump.
$12K sounds a bit much. Mine was ~$8K professionally installed and tuned and that included the 3.50 pulley, BAP, Coolant, and dyno tuning with a wideband.
Bring it by the house this weekend and I’ll do it for free with your help and you buy the pizza and beer when we finish!
What I can’t give you is a warranty from Edelbrock nor a warranty on the motor but I can give you a 100% guarantee it will be installed 100% correctly per the Edelbrock instructions and I have more than “a couple” of references if you want them.
My point with this post is that there is value in that warranty from your local brick and mortar established dealership with the financial backing capable of honoring the warranty they are offering you.
