Default E-Force oil leak

I've had an E-Force supercharger on my 08 base coupe for about 2 years. I just recently noticed an oil leak from one of the bolts that holds the cover on. The bolt is loose. It won't tighten back down, and it won't come out so I can't replace it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Very common. I would guess its one or both of the center rear bolts. The issue is that those are a bit recessed and the bolts are too short. Just replace them with bolts slightly longer and they will hold. Its also not bad idea to take all of them out and then reset them with some loctite.

Found it...

I went through this with someone recently...

the 2 holes were pointing at are countersunk, so there are less threads catching than the others. All of the oe bolts are 16mm 6x1.0 allen. Just just replace these 2 with 20mm 6x1.0 allen bolts.

Pull ALL of the bolts, one at a time, clean the threads with spray brake cleaner, apply some "BLUE" Loctite, reinstall and you'll be good to go. If you can't get one out, apply some penetrating oil such as PB Blaster or WD40, run it in (tighten) a bit, spray some more penetrating oil, and then see if it will come out.

Thanks a lot, that really helps. The bolt you're pointing to near the windshield is the one that's leaking.
Thanks again.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...es/cheers2.gif
