CAI Concerns
I've always run an aftermarket cold air intakes on other cars and thinking about putting one on the '08 C6. My concern is that most seem to be open and sit pretty low, so I'm worried about sucking in rain water. It's my daily driver and it sees all types of weather. Is my concern valid? What's a favorite among the users here....

It all comes down to your comfort level.
Personally for where you live and driving habits I would lean on keeping it stock.
The stock system breathes just fine and is used in the Z06.
You will have better filtration too and no worries about snorkeling up water.
Also the MAF sensor can be very sensitive to air turbulence changes, depending.
Waste of money unless your looking at other mods and searching for the fastest drag strip performance with obtaining cooler air and running more timing.

I put a Halltech on my 07Z and have driven it like that for over 70K in Florida all kinds of weather...no issues.
