Default Help!- can temporary removal of SC affect Tranny?

Hi Guys,
I'm stressing here and hope that someone can help. I took my C6 into the shop for a coolant leak. They said I needed a new water pump and belt tensioner. They replaced the belt and tensioner along with the water pump and thermostat. In order to do this work, they had to pull the A&A supercharger off and put it back on.
Now, the car (automatic) is not shifting gear properly. It seems to go into first and second but it doesn't want to go into third and when it does, the engine starts racing before it will shift.
I've never had anything like this happen and the tranny never gave me a lick of problems. The shop doesn't feel that there is anything they did that would have this affect on the car but there is no doubt it wasn't present until after they did their work.
Any ideas? I have a hard time believing this is purely coincidental.

I'm guessing your car is an 05 based off the transmission symptoms.... was the radiator removed from the car during the water pump replacement? If so it is possible that a fair amount of transmission fluid was lost and could cause the issue you are having. I would check the fluid level for starters.

Thanks!
I will talk to the shop tomorrow. They still have the car. I do recall the guy I have work on my car telling me that he checked the fluid but he didn't say it needed any or that he added any. If the radiator came out, is it possible that it wouldn't lose any fluid? Is it possible the dipstick would read full if it wasn't?

DO the automatics even have dipsticks for the trans? I don't think so. Yes if the radiator was out it would spill fluid everywhere.

I don't know if they have a dipstick. I just bought the car and I assumed it did because the mechanic said he checked the fluid.
So, if he lost tranny fluid when the radiator came out, how would he know how much fluid to add if there isn't a dipstick to check levels? If the fluid was low enough to keep the car from shifting into 3rd gear, would there not be a trouble code?
Pardon my ignorance but my last 'so called' muscle car was an old Monte Carlo (showing my age) and I could work on that . This car is in a totally different league so I let the professionals handle it. Of course, we can see what that has gotten me .

No dipstick on the Vettes.. The trans fluid has to be checked like normal (Car running in park/hot), but there is a lower fill/level plug on them (4-Speed automatic has it on the side of the pan / 6-Speed automatic has it on the bottom side of the pan). I do not think the shop would have the radiator out to replace the waterpump unless they were flushing it? If the radiator came out, so did transmission fluid because the trans cooler runs through the radiator on any C6 automatic.

No dipstick, You check the fluid with the car running on the side of the transmission pan. Scan for codes.
