Those who have run their fuel lines through the driver side rockers, How did you support the fuel lines/isolate them from vibrating with the chassi when (presumably) you did not remove the entire rocker?

I have wrapped the line with a regular hose and sprayed a little bit of the foam spray "great stuff" to hold the line but not add any weight.
This is on drag cars though, I might be worried about doing it in a street car in case of a side impact crash.
Mine go through the rocker and don't really vibrate. There's one very specific engine speed and load that will make them vibrate, but otherwise I never hear anything.
I was worried about the side impact crash thing, but I think I'd rather just get annihilated and have a complete loss.

LOL
we will put them in Rubber hose to keep them from vibrating. works great everytime
Yea I was a little worried about side impact. I was jhoping someone had a trick for using some insulated clamps along the length but I guess not. I'll just try and put some isolators every foot or so then I guess, or maybe buy a large heater hose and cut it lengthwise and put it on. I was worried wrapping it in rubber it would still vibrate though.
is this just on the SS braided, or would you have the noise from Aeroquip startlite hose too?
I'm not really sure at this point. It might be noise coming from the two materials against each other, or it might be the hose transmitting vibration into the rocker, and then the rocker vibrating against something else. I will share what I find out though.
For those concerned about a side impact, how is your fuel system setup? I have my external only running above 3 psi, so nothing would be pumping if I was hit and the car remains running. Worst case it breaks the fittings at my tank sump or fuel rail by moving the line so far in the impac. Is that what people are concerned about?
If the secondary tees into the main/stock line up front it should still have pressure in it. If it is cut fuel should flow from it unless you have a check valve up front.

ah, true... and now that I think about it, I am running that as my main feed w/ the stock pump t-'d in by the tank.
