Default Question about Traction Control

Hey guys...I have had a A&A Vortec kit on my 05 for about a year now putting down 560rwhp on a mustang dyno. I have a RXT clutch and stage 3 RPM rear end. I have always turned my T/C off upon getting in the car. If I left it on would there be any harm? Will it just power through it or do I risk breaking something? Thanks for any help.

It will help some but on hard shifts sometimes mine bogs down a little and I also over power mine. It just keeps spinning.

I have heard a while back that it could damage your clutch, but I don't know how and it has not happened to anyone I know. But I always turn mine off just so I don't have the active handling on.

Its extremely random. It will let you spin the tires a lot and then bog the engine down excessively or it will kick in very early and the car will just feel sluggish. Active Handling works great so I always go with comp driving mode or TCS off.

Get a feel of where the car starts to spin... I can sometimes feather it through first with minimal wheel spin and other times the car loses it in 4th. All depends on the roads and weather.
