I decied I was going to keep spraying my car so I built a custom stand alone for it. I finished it up today, I am going to run c16 in the stand alone and havent decided yet if im going to stay with the 150 shot or jump up to a 200 shot. I have a harris speed works plate and my car is an 05 vette with ls3 heads pat g cam and bolt ons and stock bottom end. Here are a few pics of the stand alone.
I did, it was my first time in a few years welding aluminum and i had the wrong size filler rod. I had to cut it and shorten it and o had 1/8 inch filler rod and it looks much better.
Very nice!
I always feel if you are wanting to spray over 150 its best to jump to a standalone.
Also one great thing about a standalone and race gas is you can keep running the same shot(example of 150) and run more timing due to the better gas.
I would either cerimic coat those headers or heat wrap and wrap a heat shield of some sort around the fuel cell, or get some steel flasking and make a little fire wall between the fc and ac lines.. Paint it black of course. It gets hot under that hood
