Got the blower from a member here in the forum. Ecs advised me they don't piece together kits. After paying what I did for the blower, then what the rest of the kit cost from Ecs I could have just bought a new kit. so I'm saving some money and getting parts as I see them for sale along the way! I'm an army guy trying to keep a strict budget. God only knows with all these budget cuts and downsizing what my future holds....

by piecing the kit together you mean you bought the blower\bracket from a forum member & you called ECS for the rest of the kit, I find it hard to believe they wouldn't do that lol
No no that is what they can do but like I stated after paying what I did for the blower to buy the rest of the kit from Ecs, it equalled the cost of buying a brand new kit. To be clear yes Doug did offer the rest of the kit to me It was just out of my price range. It only would have saved me 50 bucks over what a new kit costs once you add the price I paid for the blower.

I 100% agree w/ Doug on not wanting to piece the parts together, I mean for them to sit there and package up every little part for a blower build is nuts! Anytime you buy things as a package its goin to be cheaper than piecing together if its car parts or furniture or food at Costco whatever the case may be... I work for my fathers construction company and that's like you telling me to come over your house to frame out a closet then saying come back in a month to sheetrock but don't spackle and come back in another month to do that... Then after spackle come back in another month to sand and paint! C'mon man we got expensive cars and what comes with that is expensive modding and if you can't pay to play then maybe you have the wrong hobby
Cool story bro! Being from Belmar I know just the type of person you are. I've been modding cars my whole life been racing just as long. I know what it costs and know how to be a responsible adult. My hobby doesn't run my life. I chose a long time ago to serve my country have deployed many times in her defense. I don't knock you for your choice of career or hobby so you should just take the bench and keep your wise words to yourself when not asked. In another life or maybe once Obama rips our military apart I will go get a job making a lot more money than I currently do. Until then I will continue to mod the way I can as a financially responsible person; that doesn't make as much money as I would with a better paying job or not made the sacrifices I have. This isn't my race car it's what I drive everyday. Thank you for your wise decisions and who knows maybe ill ask you for a job doing construction. Not that I'm very fond to going back to New Jersey (was raised in toms river) but if you are making that much more than me maybe I can learn a thing or two from you business wise.
