You don't need that big tire for a lowly NA motor...

MT ET Streets - 325 / 50 / 15

1000+ rwhp / 1000+ rwtq

Hooks incredibly well. As a 6 speed with these rims/wheels, car ran 9.36. Here's a link to a recent track rental that includes a video of the runs.

my bank acount isnt..

im not going to do Spindles till i figure out which clutch i want..

im torn between the DYAD and Spec twin.. im 100% NOT going with the rps tripple.. **** that clutch..

once the drive train is out ill most prob do the heat shielding for the tunnel as well.

my powergoal isnt much more than im making now. with the 4" pully will work the X much less than the R... so i doubt it will make much more power. I might even lose some mid range, but pull out to 7k..

They are comparable. Nick Yoskin has run both types in 15s. Shoot him a PM for his impressions. I'm a fan of MT, but always looking to hear other's tire experiences.

Good luck

p.s. look at the Mantic 9000. Killer clutch (holding my power well, on the road and at the track) and they are fairly priced. Shoot Doug a PM or call.

Whats wrong with the triple man? If it's installed right i'd say they are hard to beat. Have one in my car now. engages much smoother than any twin i ever had. The spec i pulled out works great and i would highly recommend them.Feels weird saying that cause back in my F body days w wouldn't install a spec in a bolton car. They have there **** together now though.

Man forget asking around. We just pulled that P trim spec out my car and after 2 years of me beating the hell out of it it barley had any heat in it. Thats the level 2 out of 4 the offer in the twin series.

im not sure how it will hold 1k+ though.. you were making about what 200 rwhp/ft# less than the X should make?

im tight on budget right now.. for what the spec twin or DYAD run i can do the drag spindles too..i want to buy drag wheels once.. 17s wont work so i have to go 15s..

Not trying to hack your thread but isn't there a way to grind something to make room for 15 rim? Lg just made their's so you can retain your parking brake.. But even so a spare used splindles that has been moddified for a 15in rim would cost a 1/5 less but would require a little bit of elbow grease.

Farks Supercars makes a 15" spindle as well. I'm not sure if ECS still makes one or not.
