Dallas performance direct drive here too. The space between the direct drive transfer pulley and the larger crank pulley is tight, but everything fits well.
Ok I see, I have to change out my Cartek procharger head unit bracket, this is the bracket set up where you do not have to unbolt the head unit to swap out the belt, the tensioner from my Cartek bracket is sitting directly on my 10% Innovator West overdrive balancer, have to spend some more money

If that's the case it's doing it regardless of the direct drive. I'd call cartek, I think a&a has some compatibility issues also with the 10% overdrive and you need to adjust it.
No more over tensioning the belt and ruining alternator bearings.
The pricing in is great too.
Are you saying the Dallas Performance one can ruin alternator bearings if adjusted too tight? I've got a chance to pick one up cheap from a buddy de-modding his car.

Any manual tensioner can be over tensioned. That's interesting if the a&a is auto tensioned, haven't seen pics yet

Just like running a blower belt extra tight to prevent slip can kill waterpump, alternator, and PS pump bearings.
