when i race i fill to 1/2 tank, drive to the track and dump in 2 gal of C-16, Cheap insurance, no KR, very small change in AFR. I think i have seen ECS endorse this method.

I just bought some Torco at a local shop and put it in the newly S/C'd GS. Andy at A@A recommends it. $20 a can, but the peace of mind is priceless.

You would think with how Kalifornia is full of hippie tree huggers you would have E85 everywhere. But you don't and I'm going to need a 91 tune before I drive out and visit.

The 5 gallon container does make it a bit more reasonable. I may look into it for at least the hot months... Thanks.

I'll take every bit of help I can. Smaller pulley and stock cam I'm sure the dynamic compression has to be pretty high.

Has anyone done a stand alone fuel system similar to n20 or a meth kit? I know it would be another point of failure but having torco or c16 on demand instead of all the time would be nice.

On eBay seems the best prices 6 pack of 32oz is 19 n change per dose. If u get the 5 gallon for 285 delivered its 14 n change per dose. Bought the 6 pack for now but I'm sure I won't even do a tank of fuel a month so the 6 packs will prob b more than enough for my application

i personally prefer the 32oz
torco is VERY hazordous.. the less one has to handle it the better.. pop open a 32oz.. pour it in tank with out getting any on you.. throw it away. No having to deal with measuring it out and pouring it over..

Yeah, there aren't a lot of stations, one reason I didn't go that route. CA is so F'd up. Probably due to the difficulty in bringing refineries (or anything else) online here. The eco-wackos are against a lot of things, but they are for very little other than wind power.

Of course, creating E85 is much less efficient anyway. You have to grow it and water the corn and harvest it and turn it into fuel, while making poor people pay more for corn-related food products, whereas the earth's heat and pressure has already done most of the work with petroleum.

What we ought to do in the US is all run methanol from our abundance of cheap nat gas. Cheap 110 octane at the pump, anyone? OK, so we'd have to fill up twice as often, but 110, people!

Yeah, I got a waft of it yesterday and I recognized that airplane glue smell. That can't be good. Coincidentally, my face has looked all melty in the mirror ever since. It must have ruined my mirror.
